I never even heard about this game until this whole controversy. I was always aware of these really deep, and hyper realistic otome style games, targeted towards women. But I never really knew the name of any of them. But after the recent drama with a game adding a…PERIOD TRACKER!!! All I could do was see the outrage flooding my feed.

I’ll be the first to say that I hate blood. Blood creeps me out, no matter what hole it comes from, so just hearing about a period tracker freaks me out. But guess what, IT’S NOT A GAME FOR ME!!! I’m not trying to play this fucking game, and I don’t think it’s meant for me. Why are people so butt hurt about this being added to a game that they most likely aren’t going to play. It’s not ruining your gameplay experience, so why care so much? That’s like people who don’t even play Persona being mad that there's dating sim elements in the game.

People are also, mostly males, mad at the fact that seemingly girls think their gacha game isn’t gooner bait. I would be surprised if some dumb females out there believe that, but I honestly don’t think this has to be a big war that we go back and forth about. Why can’t we all just goon together. From what I saw, LAD, Love and Deepspace, is def not a game for kids.

So do I have a problem with LAD? No. Do I have a problem with them adding a period tracker? No. Do I think LAD is a gooner game for girls? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. Are men and women gooners? FUCK YEAH!!!
