Every year, I always wonder if Hunter x Hunter is a lost cause at this point.  One of my favorite shounen, never to be finished. I don’t want to believe that, but that’s how it’s been looking so far. The Hunter x Hunter manga has been out of the game for awhile now, and even it’s few chapters every few months release schedule has stopped at this point. Hunter x Hunter is a great series that may never see it’s ending.

Usually, shonens never end because they go on for so long. Well, that’s just not the case for Hunter x Hunter. At this point, it seems like One Piece is going to finish before Hunter x Hunter. I feel like this is the year that we finally get an update and an answer on what the future of Hunter x Hunter is. Will Togashi start writing and drawing the manga again. Will he just write the manga, and leave the drawing to someone else. Or will he just give the story to Madhouse, and Hunter x Hunter continues as an anime. Who knows, but I hope we can find out more about Hunter x Hunter this year.
