I’ve got a couple anime I’m picking up this season for the mere purpose of skimming through to see just how many ecchi moments and scenarios they string together in twelve episodes. Make no mistake, I have no interest in the plot or characters of this series after watching episode one of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable. From a story perspective the shit immediately looks like a simplistic trainwreck as our MC has just moved to the Japanese countryside in Hokkaido and manages to get invited to stay over at a classmate's house on the first day damn he attends class.  It’s absolutely nonsensical… but I think harem fans are going to love this one from the amount of ecchi present alone. 

In a single episode we’ve got boob shots, fake cum shots, blowjob angle shots, and lewd pajama shots of the girl we meet first. I expected this series to contain high amounts of ecchi from the PV trailer but I wasn’t expecting to get my ass blasted with it immediately after takeoff. For that, I must give credit. The series appears to know what it is and what the target audience might expect so the team didn’t waste a bunch of time with endless “comedy” or long winded setup scenes if the main appeal here is to tease to appease. Some other moments and a few shots from the opening would suggest that we’ve got other girls on the way for our MC to meet and likely find his way into extremely lewd situations with. Lord knows I’ll be sticking around to see how far we go as ecchi of this caliber serves for a nice warm-up before I deep dive into doujinshi or hentai.

Again nobody should take this as a recommendation that I believe this series to be a quality watch with complex characters and a captivating narrative. However, if it keeps up the momentum from episode one I can definitely see this being the harem of the season and fans of the genre should peep it out.
