You didn’t think you got out of this conversation because I’m a couple days late did you? I may come late to the party, but I ALWAYS cum eventually baby. It’s that time of the year to be making resolutions everyone. Unfortunately mine are about as stereotypical as they come: get back into working out regularly, work on ways to advance my career, blah blah blah. However I do have an additional resolution that’s a bit more on brand, and that’s to try and get my goddamn pool of doujins caught up to and organized on this site.
You see, I like to keep things orderly on my computer (if only that carried over into other areas), and doujins are no exception. Currently I have music playlists, favorite videos, and similar shit that I organize every year. Sometimes there’s less organization to do and more catching up to do, which is the case here. Doujins come out at a pretty decent rate considering you’re the average busy person. Sure it’s not a truckload every day but it’s enough to check back on a few times a week in my opinion. Say you have an extra busy week and you forget to check a couple of your desired tags. Jokes on you bitch, now you’re behind. When this happens I eventually sit down to fap and spend some extra time catching up on the doujins I missed. This can go one of two ways. Way 1) I find some banger new doujins, weed out the ones I don’t care about, and fap Way 2) The new ones that looked appealing aren’t actually rubbing me the right way once I read them, and I have to go looking back through older doujins to get the job done since I’m in the mood at that point. Herein lies the problem. Holy shit there’s a ton of doujins on this site. It can take me several tries going back through all the yuri shit to find one I haven’t read yet that rocks my socks, and yuri isn’t even that popular of a genre comparatively. Normally I have to go back around three pages to find one that ticks my boxes cause there are so many to shift through.

So what’s the solution? My resolution is to go through the entire backlog of doujins for both yuri and futa (ya boi’s top tags) and favorite all the ones that I enjoy. That way anytime I come to the site and aren’t ready to pop off to the latest offerings, I can quickly go through my favorites and find some old classics to read. Because currently I have barely any favorites which doesn’t help much. Plus I’m a little psycho who thinks “what amazing older doujins am I missing out on because I haven't gone back to page 14 of the results in a while?”. It’s gonna be a multiple hour undertaking, but I’m hoping I can get in a groove and burn through a couple of backlog pages at a time. If everything goes according to plan, by 2023 I’ll have handed a verdict out to every yuri and futa doujin on the site as to whether or not it’s a favorite and I’ll never have to worry about spending time searching through the older pages again when the new shit ain’t hitting. I’ll simply click on that beautiful favorites button and have a ton to choose from.

In some ways it’s a pretty pathetic New Year's resolution, but… hmm… Anyway, I hope you guys all had a nice holiday season and that 2022 will be better for the world. Though these days I’ve learned to really hamper those expectations to avoid disappointment. What are your resolutions for 2022?
