Why Eat, When You Can Drink Nissin Cup Noodle Soda

Why you might ask? Because turning solid food into a liquid usually doesn’t work out. Definitely if you also want to make it into a soda. Cup noodles are already good as they are, so I don’t really see the need to make them into a soda. But Nissin saw a need, and they made it. For all you soda and cup of noodles lovers, you can now enjoy the best of both worlds with Nissin Cup Noodle Soda.

The four flavors include regular cup noodle, seafood noodle, curry noodle, and chilli tomato noodle. Now firstly, cup noodles are supposed to be hot, but this is a cold soda, which is one of my reasons why I think this sounds gross. Second, it’s a soda and not a juice. Maybe if it was like a broth kind of substance, that’d be cool and taste good. But no, it’s a fizzy soda that tastes like noodles. And lastly, why would you drink this weird shit instead of coke?

A classic soda choice.

I’m not sure why Nissin thought about making this product. It blew up on Twitter and most likely many other platforms, it could just be a crazy promotional stunt to get people talking. This will totally be a hit with YouTubers and Food Reviewers. Also something dumb to do with friends and drink togehter, just to see how gross they all are. So even if it doesn’t taste good, they’ll still be able to make their money off the novelty alone.

What do you think about the Nissin Cup Noodle Soda? Would you try Nissin Cup Noodle Soda? Do you like normal Nissin Cup Noodles? Tell us in the comments.

As oddly interesting as it sounds that just sounds unpalatable sorry. Nissin seems more suited as soup.

I don't really care for Cup Noodles as a whole since I can get, or cook, actual Ramen or Soba. I would however at least try it. I tend to drink the soup base as is, so sweetening it and carbonating it doesn't really shock me. That may be from trying other Japanese food oddities. (Like Bacon Hard Candy - which was good.) I'd be most open to the Chili Tomato, cut with Sake. Basically a Bloody Mary.

I'm already a confirmed Cokehead. I can't be bothered to try anything that nuts.

Avoid all that shit. Especially soda. You like Disease? You like Cancer? You like having toothpicks for bones later in life? That's how you get that shit. Drink water.

No thanks, I'd rather wait until liquid meat becomes a real thing.

I wouldn’t; I don’t drink carbonated things. Hats off to all those so adventurous to try this, though.
