Girls of all different deres can be found all across anime, doujins, and hentai, and most noticeable in the harem genre. The main character has a group of dere girls to choose from when it comes to dating. With all these girls and varied personalities, there’s bond to be some good and bad to them and that’s what I’m here to talk about. Now there’s a lot of different deres out there, more than I’ve had even though of before researching this topic, so I’ll just be pointing out the ones that are most common.

Tsundere

Goods:

Tsundere is one of the most common and popular of the deres, and for good reasons. A girl who doesn't know how to express her feeling in a sweet way so all they can do is throw insults at you and hit you, how adorable. It’s the fact that you know no matter how much she says she hates you or call you “baka”, that she is actually head over heels for you. It’s the feeling of being desired and in control of the situation.

Bads:

The whole being hard to get is cute at first, but gets pretty old, pretty fast. Like, I know you're embarrassed to express your feelings but could you atleast hold my hand, it’s not that hard. And hit me a few too many times and I might become a wife beater. Hey, I believe in equal rights, so if a woman hits you, you have the right to hit her back...don’t hit girls guys.So, being all tsun at first will be cute but keep that shit up and I’m going to move on to a girl who actual will let me see them naked without punching my lights out.

Deredere

Goods:

A girl who loves you for you, plain and simple. A girl who is loyal to you because she thinks you’re the best thing to ever happen to her. Always showering you with love and affection, reminding you why she loves you. You’re pretty much a god in her eyes, which will give your little ego a stroke. And hey, I bet she wouldn’t mind stroking some other parts for you. Great wife material.

Bad:

That lovey dovey shit will get real annoying after awhile. Someone who is always around you, always wrapping her arms around you like your her property. It’s like, “yeah, I love you too and all but can I please get some space.” Rubbing your two’s love in everyone’s face. She the kinda girl that always agree with you just because she doesn’t want to get in a fight and shake up the relationship. Arguments and fights are what helps a relationships grow.

Dandere

Good:

That cute, shy type is always so adorable. You can feel good about yourself knowing that your the only one she feels comfortable talking to and being around. You’ll feel amazing knowing that you’re the one that helped her break out of her shell. You must be something special.

Bad:

Your the only one she really talk too. Your thinking that it’ll be a good idea to introduce her to your friends. Well to bad, she’s hiding in the corner, too afraid to make eye contact with them. You won’t be able to invite her to social gatherings, she’ll either refuse or go but just stand there awkwardly and quitely. It’s too much work for not enough reward.

Yandere

Good:

A girl who will scare all your bullies away. No one will ever fuck with you again and if they do, they’ll either get their asses kicked or be killed. Depending on what mood she in at the moment. Yandere’s are almost like your own personal body guards that you fuck. Awesome!

Bad:

She will do anything to keep you, even if that means hurting you. You better not fuck up around this girl because it’s not only people who mess with you that she’ll kill, she’s also kill you friend. One of your friends that’s a girl been talking to you for a little too long, she’ll probably be dead by tomorrow. And don’t you dare break up with her, because man, once your in a yandere relationship, you stay in a yandere relationship, or die trying. Literally.

Kuudere

Good:

...I guess this is good if you like cold bitches that barely talk to you or anyone else. It’s like a sex doll but real, so that’s a plus. At least she won’t be bitching at you to clean the house up. Actually, you can take all nagging out of the question.

Bad:

The bitch barely talks! I want a girl that I can have a conversation with, not one that I have to talk to like she’s a newborn baby. I don’t fuck babies! She is the definition of a boring girlfriend. Nothing will every excite her and she’ll look at you with the same damn expression over and over again. Her favorite activity is breathing, and she barely even does that.

Milfdere

Good:

Just the word MILF gets you all hot and bothered. Their usually THICC, and an older woman is always such a hot thing. Your younger than her, but you're the one in control. Know if that isn’t dick stroking-I mean ego stroking then I don’t know what is.

Bad:

She’s a milf, which mean she has kids, and depending on how old they are, that can be a real headache. Let’s be honest, you usual fuck milfs for the experience, not for the long lasting effects. Most people nowadays don’t even want to have a kid, let alone take care of someone else's. And if the kid is older than you calling you “dad”, well that’s just awarded in and of itself.
