Tenga Spinner Onahole Review
By Yung Namahage • 2 years ago

Up til this point I've only ever used Tenga's one-and-done toys like the Tenga Egg. This time I decided to go for one of their mid-range reusable products from the Spinner line, which gets its name from the internal coil I'll tell you all about in a moment. There are six main models and a few special editions you can get for US$27 each from the Tenga website. Full disclosure: I've only used the Pixel model, but they all function similarly even if the textures are different.

Packaging

I've said before that I'm a fan of Tenga's neutral design aesthetic, right down to their packaging. The  Spinner comes in a discrete cylinder with a different number and color scheme for each model, which reminds me of collecting Bionicles as a kid. Take off the wrapper and you'll find the cylinder is made up of three parts: two hard plastic lids for each end and a clear midsection that houses the onahole itself and doubles as a stand. The stand also has air holes, which make it easier to dry after washing it. And like with other Tenga products, it comes with a sample sachet of lube to get you started.

Design

The design of the Spinner isn't really much to write home about compared to some of their more artistic pieces. It's basically a firm spiral encased in a rubbery sleeve. Cleaning is simple enough at least; it doesn't turn inside out all the way but enough to reach the bottom-most nooks and crannies. A quick rinse with warm water and soap or toy disinfectant and you can put it back on the stand to dry within a few hours.

Enjoyment

Luckily, the inside is literally where this thing shines. The coil grips your shaft and wraps around, rubbing every square inch against the patterns on the walls so you get an even coverage of textile stimulation. This felt especially great with the hundreds of tiny bumps inside the Pixel. Pushing all the way lets you massage the head with the ridges at the tip at your own pace. I barely lasted minutes if I was going at it full-blast, but edging with this thing is super rewarding. Good thing the cleaning process is simple so you can recover and use it again before long.

TL;DR - A convenient, easy-to-clean onahole with a unique twist4/5.
