More Netflix News: Baki and New 3DCG Ghost in the Shell Series

Netflix has been on a roll in the anime department lately. Last week brought us a slew of annoucements regarding Neon Genesis Evangelion, a new Ultraman anime and a live action version of Cowboy Bebop, and earlier this week they confirmed a new Saint Seiya series. And that's not all!


Firstly, TMS Entertainment's Baki: Most Evil Death Row Convicts anime will have its official worlwide release on the streaming service in less than two weeks. The series is based on an arc of the second part of the manga, wherein powerful martial artsl brawler Baki faces off against a group of dangerous death row convicts. Check the trailer below and catch the series on Netflix from December 18 if you're interested.



Also, Ghost in The Shell SAC_2045 was announced by the Japanese branch of Netflix on Twitter. Kenji Kamiya and Shinji Aramaki are co-directing this series. Those two must be really busy lately if they're working on this, the upcoming Ultraman Netflix anime and Blade Runner: Black LotusProduction I.G will be working together again with Sola Digital Arts to produce the series. The latter has produced several GiTS works in the past, such as the original movies, Stand Alone Complex and Arise, so it'll be in good hands. And like the upcoming Ultraman and Saint Seiya
