The excitement for Persona 3 Reload is real. I feel like we always knew that a Persona 3 remake was going to come, with them having a totally new style for Persona 5, and upgraded graphics and models. Making the Persona 3 cast models in Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, they couldn’t just have gone through all that work just for a dancing game. The day has finally come, the Persona 3 remake that we’ve all been waiting for. But everything isn’t good news when it comes to this game, and I’m specifically talking about the voice cast.

Now when the Persona 3 remake was announced, I knew that Junpei most likely was going to get replaced, with all the controversy surrounding Vic, but I didn’t think the whole cast was going to be changed. Which is weird, since most of the VAs from the original, if not all, still do voice acting and are seemingly available. People are not happy about this change. You might change graphics, but you can’t change voices. Which is understandable, the character voices are very iconic. But the person who’s getting the worst of it is Mitsuru’s new VA, Allegra Clark.

I understand people being upset by the voice change, but like always, people start taking things too far. We haven’t even heard the lady's voice yet, and people are already getting mad at her. And I’m not sure she’s even trans, with her making a post like this.

Maybe she’s just a woman with more manlier features, like the character she voiced Marisa. They both can handle me if that’s the case. But either way, trans or not, she’s voiced female characters before with no problem and no one being the wiser, so just seeing a picture of her starts changing everyone's tone. You can’t tell me you thought Dorothea was voiced by a dude?



So like always, chill my dudes, no need to come at the lady's throat. We only cum in ladies' throats here. At least wait for the voices to be heard before you decide to bash someone for it. And even then, bash the voice, not the person.
