Mashle is Getting an Anime
By ImJustThatKinky • 1 year ago

If you’ve been missing the One-Punch Man anime, well, you’ll be happy to hear that something similar is getting an anime. I describe this manga as a mix of One-Punch Man and Black Cover. The manga that was announced to get an anime soon is none other than Mashle.

Set in a magical world in which an individual's position within society are defined by the power of and skill with magic, Mash Burnedead is a young man without so much as an ounce of magic in his blood. In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive father, Regro, Mash will need to become a Divine Visionary (神覚者, Shinkakusha), a title which is only given to exceptional students from the Easton Magic Academy. Despite having no magic whatsoever, Mash goes to the magic school, determined to survive and show the world that muscles can beat magic

Which is great news for anyone who’s been into Mashle and following the manga. I don’t read manga anymore so this is a great way for me to actually experience the series and see what all the hype is about. It’s sad though, I wrote an article way way back about a series called Undead Unluck, which came out January 20, 2020. Just 7 days before Mashle, which started January 27, 2020. So even though Undead Unluck came before Mashle, Mashle has been doing so well that it grabbed an anime before Undead Unluck. Tragic.

So I’m hyped to see this popular manga in anime form. There’s been a lot of good anime coming out this year, and cool anime announcements. So I hope the trend keeps going.

Have you read Mashle before? Are you hype that Mashle is getting an anime? Do you wish Undead Unluck got an anime instead? Tell us in the comments.
