Kira Buckland has finally done it. She’s finally voicing the role of her dreams. She’s now the official English voice of her favorite character in the Jojo series, Jolyne Cujoh. A truly beautiful and amazing moment for her, her fans, and anyone who is inspiring to go after their dreams.

Now, you might be wondering, who is Kira Buckland? Well, she’s a voice actress, and if you’re not familiar with any of her roles off the top of your head, I’m sure you’re at least familiar with her role as 2B.

This is such a big moment because throughout her career and years of voice acting, she always talked about how much she loved the Jojo series, and Joylne. She even cosplayed Joylne as seen in the article header. It was a character she truly loved and looked up to, so her voicing one of her favorite characters in manga, and now anime, must feel fucking amazing. I actually had a speculation that she might have had a chance to voice Joylne when she was announced to be doing the voice role for Reimi, from Jojo Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.

Now don’t start thinking that dreams just come into being just because you want them, this woman has worked her way into the industry and was able to obtain her role through hard work and connections. An 8 year bizarre adventure that finally paid off in the end. Congratz to Kira Buckland.
