It's Alright to Change This but Not This?

With Boku no Hero Season 4 dropping, it’s time for some controversy. People are having a total fit when it comes to the character Nejire Hado and Studio Bones decision to change her breast size.

Now these people have so much of a problem with Studio Bones changing her boob size and calling it gross and misogynistic. And what makes this dumb as fuck is that I’m pretty sure these people are the same people who would think changing these characters to fit their agenda okay.

These are the people that think making a character look “real” or “natural” is doing the world a service. But Studio Bones making a girl have bigger breasts is gross and putting a beauty standard on women, but changing the Love Live girls to look like...THAT! Is being respectful and inclusive. It’s like these people think girls with big breasts don’t exist. If you think changing a character design is a bad thing, then you should believe that to be true in any instant.

Do you hate Nejire boob resizing? Do you think these Love Live resigns are an improvement? Do you hate the double standard? Tell us in the comments.

If I wanted to look at gross, unappealing characters, I'll look at a mirror. Keep your 'reality' out my fantasy, thanks.

Until I read this blog, I really did not know there was even a controversy over Nejire's boob size. I don't see anything wrong. This is just another double-standard likely impose by the same idiots were were making a fuss over Momo's sexy armor showing off her midriff. Besides, Nejire's boob size looks normal to me, not oversize as I've seen some artists do.

The boob change, I could take or leave. However, I do think the change from a rounder face and eyes make her design look less interesting. It draws you more to the boobs than the character. Meh.

Didn't you already address the realistic boob size thing with the Kaho Shibuya cosplay of Tifa?
Also, every double standard deserves to burn in hell. I'm writing a book and I'm going to have a man crush a woman's head in his because she's the villain and tried to kill him.

What a pointless blog post

I don't think either change is acceptable. The original artist drew the character a certain way and the studio doing the adaptation should leave that artistic decision the fuck alone, along with very nearly all of the other artistic decisions the orginal artist made unless it's just impossible to do in an anime for whatever reason.

I'm all for more face and body types in anime, but that artist Love Live artist is a no from me. Those faces.

I did not need a change of breast-size, but that "Let's turn hentai/anime-characters more realistic!" is rubbish! If I want something real, I'd watch live-action (and even that's not reality). I also assume, those who wanna mess with hentai don't watch or read it, but wanna ruin it for everyone else! Stay out of my fantasy I say!

Sorry, to busy looking at Senran Kagura and High School DxD boobs to care about this.
