Horizon Zero Dawn's Aloy Bursts Into Genshin Impact
By Yung Namahage • 2 years ago

Crossovers are a big thing for free-to-play games. Look at Fortnite; every month or so it gets an update that adds some popular character or celebrity, which is usually enough to get people talking about the game and playing it again. It's pretty common to see MOBAs or mobile gachas  partner with another major franchise, so it was only a matter of time until Genshin Impact got its first major third-party collab.

To promote the upcoming sequel Horizon Forbidden West, the robot-slaying huntress Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn will arrive in Teyvat as a free five-star cryo bow hero for rank 20 adventurers. PS4 and PS5 players get early access to Aloy plus an exclusive four-star bow on October 13th, while other platforms can expect to get her on November 24th.

Like Genshin, Horizon can be described as an open-world game with an emphasis on crafting and exploration, so Aloy as a guest character makes sense on paper. She also looks much cuter in Genshin's anime aesthetic than she does in her own game's photorealistic art style. Horizon hentai already exists, but nowhere near the extent of Genshin hentai. Maybe soon we could be seeing Aloy gettting paired up with the game's existing cast of waifus and husbandos.

Do you guys think this is a worthwhile colllab? Are you hyped to get Aloy in Genshin Impact? Which other guests or crossovers would you like to see? Let us know below!
