After the Great Pornhub Purge of 2020, the site has been a desolate wasteland in terms of content for my preferences. I did an article a few months ago where I did an update on the state of Pornhub in case there were any signs of recovery and damn it was a shitty experience. Slow uploads and the fact that 90% of content was from verified uploaders who simply post a 5 minute video that’s mere highlights from a longer video that you can’t see unless you shill out that wallet ensured that I wouldn’t be fapping to the site much anymore. Now even later I returned once more on a day where I was tired of anime fapping content...and wait a minute… there’s been some changes.
First of all I must proclaim that these results may only apply to my preferred tags as I’m not exactly checking in on the state of gay dude porn very often. But man oh man, somebody released the fucking gates on Pornhub Premium videos. Back before the Purge I remember that users would maybe gain access to like, one free premium video every few months without a free trial. They were stingy as fuck with them bitches. In a wild turn of events, I legit got slammed with access to a ton of premium videos when I checked recently. I immediately noticed the difference because it was such a stark contrast from the amount of free premium content of the past. I watched a couple to see if it was merely Pornhub releasing their absolute shittiest videos to the public simply to get them out of the way while making it seem like users got some cool stuff. However, at least in the lesbian category Pornhub released some damn BANGERS fellas. It’s like somebody bothered to direct the porn video or something. Check a look at the screenshot below to see what I’m talking about. You can easily see four free premium videos, and there were two more on that first page that I couldn’t include in the cropping. So a total of six on a single page of content. Not bad for free and I damn well don’t remember so many popping up in the old days.
Sure most were from the same company here, but the ones below and the one at the top were not.
Not only that, but it seems to me like videos are being uploaded faster too. By no means is it reminiscent of the Pornhub of old that required daily check-ins to stay on top of things even for one or two tags, yet it still feels like a marked improvement from the last time I was here. Hell I’m not asking for a ton of quality free porn every single day to begin with. This increased rate of content is enough for me. It’s kinda nice to check Pornhub once or twice a week and know that there’s some new content for tags I like, and that I can skim through said content in less than an hour to see if there’s something worth watching for real.
Damn plus there's vids like this nowadays that are 30 min, HD, and not even considered premium. We like those.
After our last check-in I thought it would be a long while before there would be a reason to write an article about Pornhub, and I’m happy it turned out to be a positive report. I’m interested to see if you guys noticed any improvement in the amount of content over there and the offerings of premium videos. Nothing will restore the site to its former glory but it’s damn nice to peruse some live action porn for a little change of pace every now and then. Have you been to Pornhub recently?
