Doujins 4.42 Update: Slideshow, Bug Fixes

Hey there Doujins Fam! We've been getting a lot of e-mails and comments about these issues, so I wanted to make a quick blog post to clarify a few things.

Slideshow Changes:
We completely revamped how the slideshow system looks and works, to make it more simpler, more modern, and work with our new audio-doujins. It works just like Instagram's 'story' feature; tap to the left of the screen to go back, tap anywhere else on the screen to advance, hold down on the screen to pause.

After we introduced these changes, a lot of people wanted us to bring back the slideshow timer, so we did! If you want to adjust how long each image is displayed (rather than the default 5 seconds), just go to your account page and adjust your 'slideshow timer' parameter.

Tap To Advance Bug:
One persistent bug we've had for a while; when youre viewing an image, clicking or tapping on it wil not advance to the next image for certain mobile devices, particularly the Samsung Galaxy S7 or earlier (this doesn't appear to be a problem with iPhones or newer Galaxy phones). After looking into it for a while, the issue should be fixed now. You can still swipe left or right to advance / go back in a gallery, but tapping on the image should ALWAYS take you to the next image in the gallery.

I appreciate all of the user feedback we get! If something doesn't work for you, be sure to let me know by e-mail or in the comments below!

So does the slideshow function work for anyone? I click on the button and it doesn't even start a slideshow.
