Man oh man. Demon Slayer has been so incredible these past few episodes that it made it really hard to keep watching other anime and give a fuck about them. I saw the finale over the weekend and man what a relaxing end to a wild ride. Or so I thought. Almost immediately afterwards we’ve been hit with announcements that the next arc, Swordsmith Village, is already in the works and will be filling up the slot for season 3. It will be in anime format though currently we have no estimated release date and hey that’s alright, give the animators a break you fucks. That being said, we did receive a short trailer that shows off the Hashira who will be the focus of the next arc.
Damn, now that’s a spoiler free trailer right there. Barebones. But it did the job well enough. It seems the Mist and Lova Hashira will be taking the center stage next time around. I’m excited as hell as I’m pretty sure they said this season that the Mist boy became a Hashira hella fast. And well, we all know why I’m excited for the Love Hashira. Ramp up the fucking DOUJINS and sexy art ladies and gentlemen! I’m sure she’s going to be circulating around the lewd circles of the Internet for multiple weeks. Unfortunately for my ass I doubt I’ll see much yuri content which would be my preference, but hey I’ll take what I can get when it comes to dirty productions involving already established characters. Apart from that though I am still interested to see her in action and how exactly a sword style revolving around love is going to function. Cause like, love ain’t gonna be enough to stop these Upper Six Demons fellas.

Man does it feel good to finish a season and then be promptly slapped in the face with the information that the next installment is in production and there’s no fear factor. I tell ya, all it takes is about three anime that deserve continuations to end on horrible stopping points and never receive the next season to scar someone for life.
