Amid all the ongoing controversy surrounding depictions of sexual content in video games, the Dead or Alive Xtreme series has remained elusive outside of Asia. The last one released in the west was DoA Paradise on PSP 12 years ago, itself a remake of DoA Xtreme 2 on Xbox 360.

Xtreme 3 even had an official English translation despite only being released in Asia. Venus Vacation, the latest in the series, is a PC-exclusive rerelease of Xtreme 3 featuring all the modes, characters and content added in Xtreme 3 as well as brand new characters, although the game itself is now a free-to-play gacha affair. Thanks to Johren, Venus Vacation is the version western players will finally be able to get their hands on. 

Johren have yet to give the game a specific release window but do promise that the game is coming soon and early adopters will be able to unlock 3 SSR swimsuits, however this version of the game won't be compatible with accounts made in the Asian Steam version.
