With a lot of things going around about localization, and changing the original source of the material into something more PC or westernized. Crunchyroll decided to halt those allegations and keep the source material intentions intact. Which some might love, while others…might not…

Not shying away from the sister blatantly being incestual and wanting to fuck her brother. Pretty much played up for laughs, but it can still rub some people the wrong way.

Now I’m not sure if a trigger warning was needed, but I guess this hurts people more than I think. I love what they’re doing this with the English dub, and not pulling back on anything. I get that this could be weird for some people, and hell, some of the people at Crunchyroll might feel weird about it. But if that’s the case, one, don’t dub it, two, don’t watch it, and three, Crunchyroll doesn’t have to give it an English dub. No one is forcing Crunchyroll to dub the show, so if they gave it an English dub removing all its context so they wouldn’t trigger some people, at the end of the day, they shouldn't have picked it up in the first place. So I’m extremely happy with the direction they decide to go.
