An Interview with Lucyfer
By Kasaix • 4 years ago

Kasaix: Hello Doujin Army! I’m here with another truly talented artist, the one and only Lucyfer! I’ve been following his work for quite some time, and finally decided to reach out for an interview. To my delight, he accepted! His work is amazing. The girls are all cute and sexy, and while a lot of them are Pokewaifus, the greats like Bakugo’s mom and the MonMusu girls are given their due attention.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Thanks for taking the time to hang out. How’s it going, Lucyfer?

Lucyfer:  Well, thank you very much, it is a pleasure that you interview me, I did not think that the work I do will reach many people.

Kasaix: Let’s start at the top, could you tell me how you first got into art?

Lucyfer: Well, I started this with the intention of making and producing my own comics, I have been working in a divided way since sexy art is only one of my works, I started out of curiosity to make commissions since I was inspired by diives, konno tohiro and alex ahad, so I started to draw pokemon girls and anthropoform characters because they were very nice and interesting, and people started following me for it.

Kasaix: Did you go to an art school, or are you all self taught?

Lucyfer: I went to university but I did not finish it, I studied how to make comics with great masters of my country, but I still needed a lot to learn, so all I know now is mostly on my own, thanks to practice and the constancy.

Kasaix: What are your favorite characters and themes to draw? You’ve drawn a lot of Pokemon art, from trainers to Pokegirls. There’s also a lot of trainer Gardevoir, a Gardevoir in different trainer outfits and costumes in general, which I really enjoy, so I’m guessing Pokemon is one of them.

Lucyfer: I really like to draw her because it is very easy to do, and it fits quite well with any cosplay that one puts on her, although I never thought about drawing her at first but I was quite curious that I could Combine her with other characters from the same series, and she has become my favorite character to draw, human characters are hard to decide, I like all pokegirls.

Kasaix: What do you feel is your best picture yet, and why?

Lucyfer: I don't have any particular favorite image, but I like it when I draw the girls from monster musume, I think they are the drawings that I most like.

Kasaix: Where do you get the inspiration for your projects from?

Lucyfer: Konno Tohiro, Diives and Alex Ahad are those of whom I refer to the sexy art I do, especially the first two I found it very difficult to get a commission from them since they are always busy, so I began to imitate their art to get what I wanted to, and that's how I started to make my own illustrations, the current inspiration comes from the same people who ask me for commissions and give me ideas for future drawings.

Kasaix: How long does it typically take you to finish a project?

Lucyfer: Well, bottomless images take me about 2-3 hours, if they are more characters it takes me about 1 more hour per character, if it is in background it takes more time, but I think what takes me more time is the comic pages already It takes a lot of preparation and time to do them.

Kasaix: Is there a project you'd really like to work on in the future?

Lucyfer: There are two personal projects that I want to carry out, I hope that for the next year I can make them happen.

Kasaix: Do you have any original characters?

Lucyfer: Yes, many, is what I was talking about with personal projects, I have two comic stories that I want to make, although it is very far from the theme of Ecchi that I handle.

Kasaix: What setup do you use to draw?

Lucyfer: I use a huion graphics tablet, and a pc, it's what I'm most used to, sometimes I use pencil and paper.

Kasaix: Where does your username come from?

Lucyfer: Lucifer was my main OC that I had before, her full name is "Lucia Fernanda", although that brought me problems because some people think I'm a girl because of my nickname.

Kasaix: Let’s wrap it up here for now. Do you have any final words to all your fans?

Lucyfer: I am very grateful to everyone, before this I worked on things very far from the drawing, but thanks to the gardevoirs and the ecchi content I have been able to move forward and improve with my drawing, if it were not for the people who have been supporting me lately I could not be Writing this, thank you very much.
