Yandere Sim Releases New Demo! What Happens Next Won't Shock You
By WakeUpSnooze • 3 years ago

Uh oh bitch, you better strap yourself in for this one. 2020 is the year of the impossible. If it can happen, and it will have a negative impact on someone somewhere, it will happen. You have to rethink what reality is each and every day you wake up. In this world there are rules. What goes up must come down. Everyone dies. And Yandere Simulator will never come out. Today, I’m here to announce that one of those rules is on the brink of destruction.

Eh, who am I kidding, you probably didn’t even bother to watch that shit. Why did I even put it there? Well anyway, I watched it so you didn’t have to. Essentially the main announcement is that an official demo release is out and Osana is entirely complete. The other 16 minutes talked about how there is still no real timeline for the game’s progress but the next main focus is to secure funding to speed up the future rival’s development. A crowdfunding campaign was mentioned multiple times but there has been no official one yet, as he is likely waiting for feedback from the demo release first before creating it.

So here’s the deal. I know Yandere Sim has been through the shitter. How many fucking years of development has it been? The creator has been attacked online and gone through multiple scandals and I’m nowhere near invested enough in the drama surrounding him to hold an opinion on whether he was actually a piece of shit or if people were exaggerating. But I’m not here for that. I want to know, who the fuck still cares about this project in 2020? WHO? Looking at the comments, the majority of them are positive and while the video has a good share of dislikes from people who still don’t like him, not enough for a trailer of a demo of a game that’s been in production for years for an okay concept. I mean listen, Hitman games are cool and all. “Think up 20 different ways to kill this guy and do it”. Neat concept. But I’m not waiting around 6 years for Hitman: Animelution. If this shit was like a new fighting game where you go in a pod and you can FEEL the punches from Ryu or something, okay shit. I see why that’s taking so long, but it’s such a revolutionary concept that I’ll still be waiting around on it and supporting it years later. But this shit? I was gone years ago.

Now THIS was worth waiting years for!

Again, I don’t know if the guy actually did anything bad or not, and if he’s innocent then I wish him and his game the best success. I’m more interested in the people who are commenting about this shit and letting themselves get excited again over a unique but not mind blowing game with a development cycle on track to be longer than One Piece. Are you excited for Yandere Simulator to have an official demo? Is there some epic shit to this game that I’m not realizing? Will you be supporting the crowdfunding campaign? Put the knife down!!! And leave a comment below.
