Taimanin Asagi is Coming to Steam!...Oh Wait...It's Been Banned

Steam is doing something unexpected and releasing Taimanin Asagi, a rape filled monster fest, onto their plateform! With only being announced with no official release date, these games will be split into 4 episodes, with episode 1 being free...are, at least that what I had written up, until the announcement today that the Taimanin Asagi visual novels had been taken down from the Steam store.

Yeah, this game wasn't going to last on Steam.

I can’t say I’m surprised, my thought process when I saw that Taimanin Asagi was coming to Steam was how much of it would be censored...well, now I guess I got my answer. Steam has not come out to state why this choice was made, but at this point, I don’t think anyone needs a reason or need to think too hard on why, but Steam will seemingly always be shit when it comes to adult games. But hey, one bad news for Taimanin Asagi fans doesn’t mean there’s no good news for Taimanin Asagi fans. See you guys tomorrow ;)

This is one of those times when I can only think "if it obviously contains content that's going to get it banned, why approve it in the first place?". Either approve it or don't, don't jerk people around and halfass your own policies (though judging by what's on the store already it's too late for that). That's questioning Steam by the way, not the creators.

Poor Asagi, even Gabe fucked her over. Also fuck off with the sarcasm. "Hur dur it featured RAPE"" the subject matter & theme present in the game should have no bearing on it being up for sale, that's why it's a fucking adult game, not like it was marketed towards the 7 to 13 demographic. We're adults, if we don't step up and demand respect we might as well surrender our rights now.

if you are going to ban it steam then what was the point on approving it in the first place, not surprised it happened but come on steam its poor business to approve games and then later ban them makes you look incompetent

Personally, when Taimanin came out, I was expecting "ninja girls doing ninja things and fucking guys." But then it became an NTR monster rape fest with bad ends everywhere.

Maybe it woulda lasted longer if it cut down on the fringing of the negative elements? I mean; there were better /H/ that didn't have to go that far.

i would not play this myself but i still don't get this. We can play games where we murder and torture people but for some reason sex and rape are seen as worse in video games, if you don't like them then don't play them, all i am saying is that i hate censoring….

I'm not surprised, Steam has two rules about "adult games": no "non consensual" content and no "explicit sex scenes" with children or characters looking like children.
