Big Willy wasn’t having it at the Oscars last night. I know we’re a bunch of weebs who don't care about the Oscars and might not even watch it, but I’m pretty sure you at least caught wind of what happened there. Even after years and the show ending, everyone still hates Chris, and Will Smith showed that with a smack to the face.

Will Smith smack the shit out of Chris Rock at the Oscars yesterday. You have two people in this, you have the people who’s on Chris Rock side, and you have people on Will Smith side. For context on what happened, Chris Rock made a bald joke about Will Smith wife Jada, Jada seemed upset by the joke, so Will Smith smacked Chris Rock in the face. And to further add to the back story, Jada does have a shaved head, but it’s because of a medical condition, not by choice. But luckily for Jada, she can pull the shaved head look off pretty good.

Now, the side I’m on is that yes, Will Smith could have handled it better, but a lot of people aren’t putting themselves in Will Smith shoes by saying it was just a joke. If the joke was towards me, of course, I’ll just brush it off. But if it’s a joke towards someone that I care about, and it also upsets them, then yeah, I might do something a little more extreme. I’m more sensitive to other people's feelings compared to my own. But hopefully, even after all that, the situation doesn’t get bigger than it has to be. Let’s just be happy that the Oscars wasn’t boring for once, and that it gave us some dank memes.
