I’ve already covered A.I. art a few times on the blog, though admittedly it’s developing fast as fuck to the point where it’s probably already time to do another update. Did you guys know it has now learned how to reproduce specific anime characters with decent accuracy? Regardless, right now a different A.I. is in the news, ChatGPT. This “chat bot” has hit the bigtime recently due to its ability to do far more than just chat. It can respond to prompts to generate essays, review code, write articles, perform philosophical pondering, and more. Youtuber Critikal highlighted how well the bot was able to generate an entire Kotaku-style article from a simple prompt his friend entered. The response was complete with a lengthy output and the classic Kotaku “holier-than-thou” reporting style. I’ll leave a screenshot of the entire first part below. It’s actually insane how similar it is.

This got me thinking, if A.I. is already close to being able to recreate “journalistic” articles, surely it must be close to generating porn script content. When you think about it, porn scripts have to be one of the easiest forms of writing for a robot to learn. It pretty much all goes the same. Two characters meet, briefly establish their relationship style and any kinks that will be explored, they fuck, and that’s the end. Unless you’re a 3 hour long JAV video with 20 plot twists, that’s basically 90% of basic porn videos summed up. Since everyone pretty much says the same things, I can’t imagine it taking long to adapt to the typical porn dialogue either. Sure the more verbose readers will say “fuck that, I read my porn and I want my stories to eloquently describe the characters fucking”. Well, sure. Let it read a bunch of smut from a lewd site or two, and I’m sure the A.I. will be able to take on a more advanced script-writing style that takes advantage of the English language like the more knowledgeable porn smut writers do. As someone who used to read a bunch of porn, it’s scary to imagine a world where instead of following my favorite writers, I just say “Write a short scene where Sakura from Naruto is defeated and used sexually by Nobara from Jujutsu Kaisen” and the damn A.I. will whip up a detailed 3 page essay on how that would play out. I think it would still struggle with knowing who the characters are and how to write their dialogue to sound natural, but god damn it seems like the man in the computer receives a massive update each month where it gains new functionality so what the hell do I know.

I saw somewhere that it’s crazy how we once thought creative jobs were the safest from an A.I. takeover, and yet writing and art creation are the first industries to really feel massive pressure from a possible A.I. invasion. Artists are even banding together in some online communities to ban A.I. art and quickly establish that those who use generators are not real artists. Which hey, fair play. But their actions show fear and damn considering I’m a “creative writer”... uh oh. If you ever see WokeUpSnooze around on this site, just know they fired me and replaced me with an A.I. to write my articles for pennies on the dollar. Have you tried out ChatGPT?
