The long wait is over, and the game we all been waiting for has finally dropped. Fuck Genshin Impact, fuck Wuthering Waves, and fuck Zeneless Zone Zero, all those gacha games are small fry compared to TRIBE NINE!!!
Sadly, I feel like right now, I’m the only one on this site who is actually really hype to finally get the TRIBE NINE game. But, a lot of people who played the beta and thought it was enjoyable were most likely really hype for the official release as well. And now that it’s finally out, people have a lot of things to say about it.
It really hurts me to see that this game is getting negative reviews. As a fan of Danganronpa, and the TRIBE NINE anime. I was super excited to get something with those series' cool and unique artstyle, with pretty nice character action combat. But it seems like the team really…DROP THE BALL (baseball joke cause the series is about baseball), and I’m not sure if they’re ever going to pick it back up. Gacha games live and die based on how stingy the game wants to be with microtransactions and pulls. And you can only really get away with that, if you’re an already popular game, or carry a popular IP. TRIBE NINE is neither of those. That’s why Marvel Rivals can sell skins at $20!!!
Magik skin looks cool, but $20!!!
I was going to wait till this game hopefully got a Playstation 5 version to finally try it and test it out for myself, but at this rate, I might not even see this game last until the end of the year.
Where you hype for the TRIBE NINE game? Do you think this game is going to last the entire year? Is this game going to kill Genshin? Tell us in the comments.
But I'll note that for me, the stinginess isn't necessarily the only reason I drop gacha games: the story matters to me too. I dropped Girls Frontline cos it got too depressing.
Tribe9 will end up ending itself before it ends Hoyoverse. And Hoyo's pretty endable as is.
