I can’t really say that I always wanted a Spy x Family game, I barely wanted a season 2 of the anime. But, I understand that it’s popular, and I’m in the minority of people who really didn’t enjoy it that much. But, even the people who really like Spy x Family, I’m pretty sure none of them were really asking for a Spy x Family game, let alone one where you play Anya.



Anya is super cute and all, and we all understand that, but who really was out here praying for a game where you can play as her. I would think more people would be interested in playing as Loid or Yor, where you have to manage your Spy or Assassin life, and making sure your family doesn’t find out. That sounds more interesting than going around trying to take pictures of the fishes.

Maybe I’m just stupid, and Spy x Family fans wanted an Animal Crossing style Spy x Family game. I don’t know, maybe that’s all the switch is capable of. A Spy x Family game with action and a family management system might be too complex for the system to handle. Same way it couldn’t handle Mortal Kombat 1.
