What the fuck? Seriously, I don’t even know how to start this. In case you haven’t been following the news, Kim Jong Un has fallen seriously ill as of late. There are rumors circulating that he’s dead, having severe issues, or absolutely fine as conflicting reports come out of countries around the world. Among this speculation is that assuming he is dead or will be unable to continue being a dictator, it is expected for his sister Kim Yo Jong to take over. Okay, nothing too crazy. You still with me?

I suppose if people were drawing lewds of the coronavirus I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I think it’s the attitude that’s really got me shocked. It’d be one thing if people were now lewding Kim Yo Jong. But why stop there? We got people straight simping for her out here. Take a look at some of these tweets I pulled from Twitter last night while investigating her trending hashtag.

Now I’m not here to be the comedy police, some people are just making fun of the situation. But there were a good portion of posts where I wasn’t so sure that was the case. Unless this woman’s about to bring sweeping change to North Korea and miraculously do away with the dictatorship model and bring freedom (and food) to the North Korean people, I don’t think anyone should be fucking simping for her. In fact, nobody who is complicit in an oppressive regime that causes pain and suffering to thousands upon thousands of people really deserves to have simpers.
