The State of Play came here, and everyone is going crazy over ASTRO BOT!!!



I’m actually excited for Astro Bot, which is weird, it’s not like I’m a platforming game super fan or anything like that, but I do think the game looks like it has some charm to it. I’m a fan of Little Big Planet, and it gives me the same vibes as that game. So I’ll keep my eyes on it. Another game that people got hype for was seeing more gameplay footage of Monster Hunter WIlds.



But even though seeing the game was exciting, what people were really getting excited for, is seeing the new smithy.

Gemma the Smithy is a real hottie, and a far cry from all the “ugly” girls we’ve been seeing in western games recently. People have been hating most western games' female design, so it seems like Japanese game developers have to pick up the weight for us. And also, the NSFW artists are picking up the weight as well, with already lewding this Monster Hunter hottie.

I was already excited for this game, so now knowing that it also has a baddie that will be helping me through the course of the game, it just got me even more excited. Sadly, it doesn't seem like the handler of the game, Alma, is getting much love in comparison.
