Japanese media have reported that Kenya Suzuki, creator and author of the manga Oshiete! Galko-chan!, was arrested by Aichi Prefectural Police under suspicion of possessing child pornography.

The 40-year-old mangaka living in Funabashi, Chiba prefecture  is believed to have violated the Customs Act by importing six illicit photo collections from Germany via international mail on two seperate occasions in September and October last year. He supposedly told authorities he ""desperately wanted to acquire nude photos of foreign children that cannot be acquired in Japan." Police later found 46 books and magazines contaning unlawful material upon investigation of his residence. 

Please Tell Me! Galko-chan! is a slice-of-life manga that started in 2014 about a thicc gyaru, a cute otaku and their hot, dignified classmate hanging out and discussing their lives together. It had an anime in 2015 and inspired a great deal of non-CP R34. But unfortunately, like Act-Age and Rurouni Kenshin, it'll be more difficult to enjoy after knowing its creator is such a vile degenerate.
