Hello everybody, I’m here today to share some news about one of Hooligag’s latest ventures, a new match 3 style game named Dirty League. Personally I haven’t done much puzzle gaming over the course of my life (as I tend to suck at them), but I know there are people out there who love them. This is a browser game that I’m sure can run off of a potato so if you’re in the market for a quick little porn game to kill some time every now and then or perhaps serve as a nice warmup, look no further.
Despite my limited knowledge, I’m quite familiar with the match 3 style concept. What I wasn’t anticipating was the added layers on top of it. In this game the player collects a deck of cards made up of different girls with different types and abilities. When you match a certain element of gems, the corresponding girls will get a damage bonus for that turn when they automatically attack your opponent. This means you could build a deck of mostly one element that does nutty damage whenever said element is matched three in row, but if that element isn’t showing up on the board that much, you are cucked. Alternatively you could go for a super balanced team, however you need to match a variety of gems each turn then in order to provide bonuses for multiple team members instead of relying on one element. Throw in the fact that some girls have special abilities that completely shake up the game, and now you have a layered puzzle game. I can verify that my ass was getting blasted by the AI after a short period of playing the game, as they were doing all sorts of combos and techniques.
There's a tutorial, but I'll admit I was a little distracted.
Apart from the core gameplay itself, there’s PvE, PvP, and apparently some events that are coming soon. I found the PvP the most fun but perhaps that’s my inner fighting game spirit coming out. As you level up and obtain more cards and repeat cards, you can level up your favorite girls and see their outfits grow lewder. Additionally while climbing the PvP tower, the MC has sex with some girls that changes as you progress upwards.
