Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has finally dropped and man is it hype already. I’ve heard some people say they hate flashback arcs and rather focus on the present, but I’m not one of them. I’m excited to see more about Gojo and Geto, and how they’ve come to be the people they are now. Also cool to see the younger version of them, but maybe not so much for the female characters.

I’ll be upfront with you all, I don’t think the designs for the female characters are bad at all. But do they compare to their older versions? Do any of them look better younger? That’s the question. And I’ll be honest about one of them, Utahime, she definitely looks better older. Young version of her just looks like a basic shrine maiden, while that scar she gets later on in life just completes her attraction for me. Gives her a not so basic design, while also looking hot and badass.

Shoko is harder, because her younger version and older version both have great appeal. Yeah, I’m into my older girls, so I think older Shoko is a winner for me, with her dead, done with life expression and tired as fuck eyes. But I’d be gay if I didn’t think young Shoko was the cutest ray of sarcastic sunshine ever.

And I think I might actually like Mei Mei's younger design more. She gives off that bad ass bitch vibe in both, but I like it more in her younger form. But I can easily feel that way because we haven’t really seen much of Mei Mei last season. So I guess that’s what Season 2 is going to be for.

But, we won’t have to wait long for these characters' older versions, since this backstory arc is only going to be 5 episodes long. And then after that, the long awaited Shibuya Incident Arc STARTS!!!
