In a world where brands pay PR interns to be horny on their verified corporate social media pages, marketing teams everywhere are boarding the 9'2" Vampire MILF express. The latest, and possibly the most bizarre, attempt comes from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

You may remember I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator, a visual novel about competing with other chefs to win over an animefied Colonel Sanders. Since then, KFC's esports branch KFC Gaming have revealed their own console, the KFConsole, which features a built-in chamber for keeping your fried chicken warm while playing the latest games with ray-tracing in 4k at up to 240fps. Any console needs a good launch title, and it seems KFC are hoping to collaborate with Capcom for the KFConsole's USP.

KFC Gaming tweeted a mockup for a potential sequel to I Love You, Colonel Sanders! with Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu. As funny as it seems, it's pretty obvious this is just an attempt to stay relevant, and it's pretty unlikely Capcom will allow this to happen. Partnering with Ubisoft is one thing, but I don't think survival horror pairs well with fried chicken. Then again, ILYCS and the KFConsole were thought to be jokes when they were first unveiled but they turned out to be real in the end, so maybe Capcom will let people enter a simulated polycule with a fried chicken mascot and their 2.9m vampire lady.
