I’ve been slacking talking about my fighting game waifus. Well, Melty Blood: Type Lumine just dropped their second free DLC character pack, and it includes Mario (not the plummer) and Power Ciel. And since Mario is a dude, we’re going to talk about Power Ciel today, and how I’m disappointed in her new design.



Now people who know nothing about Melty Blood, or about the old Tsukihime series, may not really see anything wrong with her design. She looks fucking hot. But, I’m a OG Melty Blood player, and I miss her original Power Ciel design.

Now I know, the new Power Ciel design is cuter, and has a boob window that I know the weebs are going crazy over. But what about tattoos? This is POWER CIEL!!! Not, I’m kinda powerful Ciel. The old Power Ciel design might look like something you’ll see an edgy teenager post on Deviantart, but it’s a charming design, if not a little outdated. 

But even though I have an attachment to the old Ciel design, I don’t think the new one is bad by any means. It just doesn’t hit the same as the old one for me. But I’ll still smash either one of them, if they don’t smash me with their railgun first.
