Kinky: We are all busy people, and as busy people, sometimes we don’t have time to play hours upon hours of RPG Maker games and adult visual novels just to get a few sex scenes. I know it might be dirty but sometimes you just have to cheat and find yourself that 100% save that already has all the sex scenes unlock, but sometimes those can be hard to find, until now?! I am glad to introduce the hero we need but the one we don’t deserve, jikorde! How are you doing today jikorde?

jikorde: Just fine and dandy, Kinky.

Kinky: That’s good to hear! Now, can you remember the first H game you played?

jikorde: Utawarerumono. I remember having the gamefaqs guide for the Playstation 2 version up, looking forward to routes and actually picking the girls I wanted to pursue. It took about 4 hours for me to realize that the PC version didn't have any of that, and I would then drop the game about midway through, only finishing it about two years ago.

Played 4 hours before learning that there were no scenes. A truly tragic backstory. 

Kinky: So, what made you make your blog and do god's work of giving people 100% saves?

jikorde:   So I've always been the kind of person to go for 100% completion but the fire died down in a lot of areas. But not for Vn's and porn games. I also very often lost my saves constantly do to my computers dying. Tired of that, I got my first external hard drive and started backing things up. About a year after that I looked at the amount of saves I had, saw a bunch of posts with the "100% save plx" message and also saw that vndb wasn't listing things like Demon Master Chris and decided to start my own list. To stand out and not have all my hard work just gather dust, I decided I would give my saves away in a single place instead of running around the internet answering requests.

Kinky: Do you really play though all those games just to get 100%?

jikorde: Most of them. I don't know how to hack or do anything amazing, so for a lot of games I sit down and play. I'll usually consult a walkthrough right away for complicated stuff like Daibanchou to make sure I'm working towards everything. Most game though are simple and some even just throw 100% at you by the end, which is kinda boring but can be nice.

The only exception is a couple of RPG Maker things that require entire playthroughs for a small number of scenes but the same basic game. Or when I miss a scene or two and don't like the game enough to replay from the start. Then I open RPG maker itself and edit. This has probably saved me more then 100 hours of time of grinding or replaying stuff.

Kinky: It’s good that you have ways so you can edit the game and not grind your way for every scene.Do you think grabbing 100% saves and only playing the game for the sex scene is sinful or do you think it’s necessary since some game are bad and the scenes might be the only good thing about it?

jikorde: I’m on the play porn as you want side of that argument. If you want the story and porn, play it but if you have some rare fetish, no time, the game's actually terrible but the porn in unique, lost your save or whatever just go and download that save. We all have only so much time in a day, why waste it playing something you have no interest in but really want to fap to? Unless you are me, I have to play the crap to tell people about it.

Kinky: And we appreciate that, I know I sure do. How many times have you seen a game that seems to have great scenes but when you got to them they were a disappointment?

jikorde: A decent number really. A problem I have is that I don't find animated scenes really interesting, but other people love them. So all those interesting Patreon games I've recently jumped into have little porn value to me, but others won't stop praising the stuff. And of course you have other games where the cgs looked amazing or hit my sweet spots only to actually be only a couple of lines long and annoying to unlock.

I'm in the same boat on this one. If making the scenes animated cause the game to have less scenes and shorters scenes, I'll rather not have them. I'm okay with my none animation CG's with a good amount of dialogue.

Kinky: Same question. Was their a game that you didn’t expect to have good scene but once you got them, you were pleasantly surprised?

jikorde: Demon World Cave Lulu Farea ~Defeat, Screw, Marry! is to me, an amazing thing. I expected some half hearted puzzle dungeon RPG with bland monster girl porn and instead got a decent game with some good porn that also made me think. about discrimination and taught racism. It's a really weird game with a sad ending but really amazed in a bunch of departments, porn included.

I hope you guys have time on your hands because if I can remember correctly, the H scenes in this one are pretty lengthy.

Kinky: See, some time porn can teach you something. Is there a game that you have played for the story more than for the scenes?

jikorde: A few. Harem Collector would be the most recent thing I've been playing for myself more than anything else, but any big Japanese RPG usually hits this. Rance 6 for instance was really for the story as Rance porn doesn't get good(or so I'm told) until the remakes or 9. Bunny Black is also a great mention here as the porn in that series is honestly not even trying to be erotic, with character motive rants and soliloquies thrown about as the MC thrusts into whatever girl is the current victim/playmate.

Rance, a favorite amoung many H game lovers. Known as one of the best of it's genre.

Kinky: I enjoy dialogue more then descriptions in h games, I enjoy knowing what they girl think about the situation. What do you enjoy reading more during an H scene, the dialogue or the description of the scene?

jikorde: I prefer the description. Maybe it's because so many games use the same cliches in the dialogue, but I feel descriptive stuff can make things feel way more interesting the the stock phrases most scenes use for dialogue. Plus a lot of scenes just end in moans and names being repeated while description stays constant throughout.

Kinky: What are your favorite kinks to run into in these games and what are you less favorites and why?

jikorde: I love foreplay. No idea why but games that focus more on not penetration stuff tend to be better for me. Willing foreplay that turns the giver on is great. On the other hand, NTR and corruption tend to kill my mood. Sadly those last two are some of the most liked among people who visit my blog so I try to play a lot of them. Thankfully text skip exists in most games nowadays so I can read a few scenes to get a feel and move on.

Kinky: I’m a corruption, blackmail kind of man myself but everyone has their kinks. Is games your main source of porn or do you enjoy things like, hentai, real life porn, audio porn, or doujins more?

jikorde: Doujins would be the actual main source, games are just what starts me. Honestly, most h games don't do scenes in such a way that it feels like they can be your main source, with a lot of games featuring really short scenes or the timing between them being done in such a way that by the time you get to the next one your desire has run out. I;m not really someone who jumps through the gallery of most games so I tend to not bother focusing on them for actual porn.

Kinky: Well if doujins your main source, you’re on the right site. What do you think about the western adult games that are now rising thanks to Patreon? Are they as good as Japanese h games, or do they still have a long ways to go?

jikorde: Some are good, a lot feel like carbon copies of each other. Just like the AAA game market, the amount of times I've seen "In this game your choices actually matter" has honestly made me cringe when I see it now, since Vn's already do that way better than almost anything else does to date. As for quality, it depends. I feel like the English side hits a lot more physical fetishes then almost any Japanese game does, but the porn writing leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, almost every patreon project has animations which you don't find often in Japanese stuff. As games I don't think any English thing blows the average Japanese out of the water though this has to do with how many are incomplete projects. As porn they are almost two completely different markets that are almost incomparable.

Kinky: Japanese visual novel have voices and I feel like they enhance the experience. What do you think of western visual novels adding english voices, do you think they help the sex experience or take away?

jikorde: I cringe at English voice acting, but I think it has potential. Problem is the market. Getting some random youtuber or streamer to voice your girls is probably the best you can afford right now and chances are they won't really be good at it. Quality is the problem I feel one that won't really go away. So while they may add to the value, it probably isn't worth the money.

Kinky: What is one of your favorite games you’ve played and least favorite?

jikorde: Favorite: Sengoku Rance. The only game I've played where it felt like my choices of how to play through it actually mattered. Every playthrough felt unique and varied, the characters were great, and it was funny.

Hated: Pretty Soldier Wars 2026AD. A game that needs an in depth manual that doesn't exist, and doesn't have the content needed to make the game worth the effort to figure out how the numbers work. Of all the localized games, it is the one I feel that is the biggest waste of time and money.

And when jikorde sees this game, it reminds him of bad times...

Kinky: What would you like to see more of in your adult games?

jikorde: I have so many joke answers to this... But for a real one, light hearted comedies. I play so many corruption based or non-consent based things. When I do find vanilla stuff that appeals to me it takes itself so seriously. These are games, I want to enjoy my time with them and comedies appeal to me more then drab serious stuff.
