It’s a grim day for anyone who was a fan of The Hunters Guild: Red Hood manga, or it’s porn. Sadly, a series that I saw promise in when it came to it’s story, character design, and it’s porn potential, has been axed out of Shonen Jump. Just like the lumberjack axed the big bad wolf.

Well, he did, but he can't any more.

If you haven’t seen the last chapter of The Hunters Guild: Red Hood, let’s just say it’s a very fourth wall breaking kind of ending, leaving room for us to visit these characters again, if the mangaka decides to revisit them in a follow up series. Many mangakas fail on their first attempt, even the author of My Hero Academia had some flops before My Hero, so this could be the same thing.

And like I said, the character designs, definitely for the female characters, were amazing. And it’s sad to know that with the series ending, we won’t be expecting anymore hentai or doujin from this series.
