Today in "Inanimate Objects Turned into Waifus by the Internet"...

You've probably heard of Chernobyl by now, the HBO drama miniseries based on the real-life disaster in 1986 at the Ukrainian power plant of the same name. Sure, it might not be completely accurate to the true story, but its strong cast and unflinching cinematogprahy managed to secure its place as the highest rated show on IMDb.

And then 4chan happened. 

Noticing a potential gap in Rule 34, artfriends were quick to step in and remedy this. And thus Reactor-Chan (or Core-Chan) was born.

Personally, I really like her design. Her creepy, faceless appearance definitely makes her stand out from the other various anthropomorphised "-chans" we've covered in the past and give her a kind of SCP feel. I would say that fapping to an image indirectly inspired by an event that caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people is somewhat insensitve but that would make me a hypocrite. Nothing on the internet surprises me anymore to be honest. I just hope that, like nuclear fallout in the ruins of Pripyat, she sticks around for a while.
