You don't need me to tell you that most people aren't crazy about censorship. By censoring a work, you're either stifling an artist's creative vision or you're telling people what they are or aren't allowed to see, and nobody wants either of those things. Ryoma Kitada's series Dokyuu Hentai HxEros may just be a brilliant satire on the idea of censoring ecchi material - after all, sexuality is a pretty important part of human nature and nobody has the right to take it away from us. Or it's just a sci-fi battle harem manga with plenty of fanservice. Either way, it's getting an anime!

Set in a world where mysterious aliens invade the earth and begin to absorb people's "H energy," average high schooler protagonist Enjo Retto meets Hoshino Kirara, a busty childhood friend of his. The pair begin to battle against the alien's censorship bug and eventually get recruited into the resistance organisation HxEros, where they and a few other cute girls use the power of lewdness to save humanity and make Justin Timberlake proud by truly bringing sexy back.

Originally beginning publication in Jump SQ in 2017, the upcoming anime adaptation will be directed by Masato Jinbo (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!) at project No.9, and character designs will be handled by Akitomo Yamamoto (The Girl in Twilight). As it was only recently announced there aren't a lot of other details, but as always we'll keep you updated. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a manga to catch up on...
