Anime Expo had a lot of new announcements and reveals. People go to Anime Expo in hopes of being one of the first to see what new things anime studios have to show. One of those anime studios was Mappa, and any news on Chainsaw Man and the reveal of a new trailer. Well, what we got was a confirmation that Chainsaw Man will not tone down the gore, and stay true to the source material…okay…

We can tell that the gore is in the show.

THAT’S IT!!! I feel like most wasn’t even worried about the gore since seeing the first trailer. People have been waiting for a new Chainsaw Man trailer for awhile now, and with Chainsaw Man being released this year, not having something to show at this time is kind of worrying. Like, you don’t have just a quick scene that you guys had finished that could just give us another taste of the anime. During the panel, Mappa explained that what they wanted to show wasn’t finished yet, and that fans will have to sadly wait till Crunchyroll Expo in August. So fans will have to wait another month before they get the bad news that Chainsaw Man has been delayed.

I really do hope that Chainsaw Man release this year, cause one of my fear is that, if Chainsaw Man is delayed to next year, I would assume we might not get another season of Jujutsu Kaisen next year, and we’ll have to wait till 2024 to get that, since I don’t think Mappa will be able to work and release two big anime projects in the same year. But I guess we’ll just have to wait till Crunchyroll Expo to see what they had waiting for us.
