We've seen hide nor hair of Tite Kubo in manga for a couple of years, not since Bleach ended back in 2016. Sure, he's pretty active on social media, and launched some sort of Instagram for Bleach. He might've been burned out from the whole thing, Bleach lasted a long time, perhaps a bit too long depending on who you ask, but the break was well-earned.

Kubo returns to manga in a grand fashion, having announced a one-shot called Burn the Witch on twitter

Details are scarce, but from what we know, it'll be a romantic comedy with the tagline “Witches, dragons, and reverse London”, so we're quite intrigued by the whole thing.

What do you think of Burn the Witch? Are you interested in seeing Kubo's next project? Sound off in the comments below!

I hope somebody else is directing the story. Every Bleach fan has stated that they started to lose interest because of the poor story progression. If Kubo Tite has somebody else to focus on writing the story he can make his already top-notch art even better.

I'm looking forward to more from him.

Honestly, I hated the last Bleach arc for a lot of reason. And since I was a dead seroius fan of bleach as manga and anime this means something. to much new characters as cannon fodder, the plot twist around "O-San" pissed me off pretty hard and I hate the cliché "male main character marrys the second girl that appears AND looks like Mommy" GROSS! With this Bleach Ending my passion was killed.

I too got bored by Bleach at one point. No story-development. It was always pretty much the same setting and storyline. Opponents got even more scary and even mor powerful, Ichigo beaten up badly, achieved those powers, defeated that new group and so forth. Also the artwork was getting lame in the end. I suppose its Shonen Jump's fault, not giving Kubo enough time to develop something new.
