Cyberpunk 2077, a  game that was so hyped up, but died on arrival. It came with bugs, some that were game breaking. It was released on current gen consoles like Playstation 4 and Xbox 360, but couldn’t even run on those systems properly. Shit got so bad that Gamestop started selling the game for $1, just to get them off the shelves. That’s how you know shit is bad. And once again, anime had to come in to save the day, with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. They’re pushing Edgerunners so much that it’s the first Cyberpunk trailer you see when you check out the game on Steam.



And I’m one of those people who is kind of interested in Cyberpunk now. The game looked cool when they first showed it off, but it still wasn’t a game that I would play myself. Maybe watch a playthrough of it, but that’s about it. But after watching Edgerunners, I’ve been contemplating if I should buy the game now.

With so many games that are coming out, and with this being one of those 20 hours types of games. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to play it anytime soon. And the sad thing is, even if I do get the game, I have to understand that it’s not going to be like the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. Even with them adding Cyberpunk: Edgerunners DLC, it’s still a first person shooter. If it was more like a cell shaded, third person shooter, with some character action elements, then maybe. Might be hella cool if CD Projekt Red did something like that.

We can only hope.
