Life is a lot like reviewing games for Nutaku. Sometimes you get to pick your own battles, and sometimes they’re chosen for you. In this case, I’m back with special instructions to tackle Kamihime Project R. Considering the last free game Nutaku told me to play, Foxynite, which was hype as fuck, I’m crossing my fingers that they picked this out knowing it was also hype as fuck. Guess it’s time to find out…
Kamihime Project RKamihime Project R is a lewd turn based strategy game that’s available in your browser as well as android and iOS devices. Since it lends itself to the mobile game format, I ended up spending most of my playtime on the android version. It’s your typical setup where the game is no cost but spending money can grant you increased perks, items, etc.
Production
Hot damn, we got a big boi on our hands ladies and gentlemen. The art you can witness for yourself in the provided photos, the shit is clean. That goes for the character portraits, h-scenes, and sprites for the units in the gameplay. But why stop there? The music in this game is bumpin’, especially the calmer tracks. I was quickly no stranger to sitting around in the menu or slowing down the story progression to hear the background music a little longer. In addition, a large portion of the game is voice-acted in Japanese with a talented cast. Long story short, this is not your Mom and Pop’s first mobile hentai game.

Gameplay/Story
I lumped these together because I believe they hold the weaker aspects of the game. Moreso the story, which is basically guy and girl must be heroes by collecting other girls and fighting monsters. Sex ensues along the journey. Needless to say, I ended up skipping a large amount of the exposition after a bit. But hey, who the fuck plays these for the story? The gameplay itself is decent, revolving around some elemental strategy like that found in later Persona games. Ultimately though I turned on autoplay by the end of my experience with the game. Normally I’d deduct a boatload of points, but I don’t really turn to mobile games for my top-of-the-line TBS gameplay. It was interesting to progress and find new loot, and that’s enough when the sex is so good.
To be fair, I would argue stabbing any bodypart would be a weakpoint with a sword that big.
The Sex
Ohhh, I see. This is why Nutaku recommended this game. Because it has the best damn sex in a mobile game I’ve ever witnessed. Usually in mobile games you’ll get to unlock a girl after a while and she fucks you for a solid half-millisecond and you’re out the door. But we’re talking the good shit in this game. Every scene I beheld rewarded me with… wait for it… good amounts of voice-acted DIALOGUE and crisp ANIMATION. I know I know, I didn’t think it was possible to find the two together either. And the best part, this project surpassed my expectations in the “timing” criteria. I could barely launch the application before I was right in the middle of a h-scene. Just beautiful. The only complaint I could muster for this section would be a lack of variety. From my research, it looks like a very large amount of content revolves around the same rape, gangrape, or implied forced sex themes. (Isn’t that just rape?) Listen it’s unclear. Regardless, this was still the highest level of effort I’ve experienced sewn into the sex in a mobile/browser style game.

The game looks great, sounds great, plays okay, tells a boring story that I nodded out on, and delivers on some high quality scenes with smooth animation. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve got some dirty shit to unlock.
tl;dr I’m no scientist, but that’s looking like a definite 4/5 to me.
