I’ve been talking a lot about how English dubs have been carrying characters as of late, especially female characters. It’s usually the other way around, where people praise the Japanese voices and trash the English ones, but not this year. English dubs have been showing off, and this time around it’s in Persona 3 Reload. You might have second thoughts about Akihiko’s new voice, but Yuko is a winner through and through.



The reason Yuko's voice hit so well is that, well, she sounds so real. Like, I can imagine an actual high school teen, when she talks. It doesn't sound like a person playing a teenager, it sounds like an actual teenager. The VA did a wonderful job, and has been making me question my old romance choices. I was a Chihrio and Fuuka boy in the past, but this time around, I might have to be siding with Yuko.

Oh shit, I think she heard me.

And hopefully her getting more popularity means we get to see some more hentai of her. There’s never enough hot tan sporty tomboys to go around.

Persona 3 Reload has been a great remake so far, with updated visuals, gameplay, and more added voice over. I know some people might have issues with some of the new voices, but I feel like most can agree that Yuko was a winner.
