We can’t go too long in this blog without another new hot ass girl coming into Granblue Fantasy Versus. This Granblue title is one of the few anime fighting games to still be receiving regular updates during the coronavirus alongside Dragonball Fighterz. Today I’m here to share some news about their latest character addition, Yuel, who was added on the 14th this week. She has an interesting playstyle that seems to involve confusing stances to mix up the opponent. Here’s the trailer in case you want to see her in action, but if not, stick around because there’s more to this story than meets the eye.
Damn that trailer is looking clean, I’d be playing her myself already if I wasn’t waiting to sync up with Kinky. Anyway, let’s get into the meat and potatoes. Some people are a bit disappointed that Yuel has appeared with her “Water outfit” which is a nonstandard outfit for her. Looking at the popular Granblue wiki, Yuel is not wearing the white dress that she is in this trailer and there’s way more skin exposed. It seems that the developers were a bit worried about having her be so sexy so they opted for the “Water outfit” with the white dress instead. On one hand I do understand that fighting games are already a niche game genre and with the coronavirus at play they need to scrape every dollar they can (that means not being banned at events for being too sexy). On the other hand these bitches literally have Metera in the game and that girl is barely wearing more than a bikini with a thin black veil, so it seems a bit pointless to worry about Yuel’s body showing. At the end of the day I wish they would have just used the event costume for Yuel which covers her up, but at the same time looks a bit more inspired than “Slap a white dress on that hoe”.

At the end of the day perhaps there’s another reason to include the water form white dress than raw fear of sexiness, maybe it was the easiest thing to do and with COVID running business amuck this year I won’t complain too much without having concrete reasoning. Whatever the reason, I still think it's lame compared to her regular attire, but you bet your ass I”ll be messing around with her regardless. Which attire do you think Yuel should have been in?
