You Won't Believe the Curves on the Latest Virtual YouTuber
By Yung Namahage • 5 years ago

Virtual YouTubers, also known as "VTubers" for short, are all the rage these days. Not only in Japan, but the likes of Kizuna Ai, Kaguya Luna and Mirai Akari have amassed fans from all around the world without even existing outside of the internet.

And now they're about to be joined by yet another, one who's bound to find success among the ever-judgemental viewers of the world's largest video sharing platform.

Hailing all the way from the city of Southern Cross, meet Heart.

That's right, the corpulent, fan-favorite henchman of Shin from Fist of the North Star now has his own YouTube channel, as part of the series' 35th anniversary. According to the video, he somehow obtained a smartphone after the nuclear apocalypse, which he plans to use to entertain viewers in the present.

Earlier this year, Heart was also involved in some cross-promotional advertising with popular Japanese gym chain RIZAP, where he was shown to lose his belly and got a set of abs even Kenshiro would envy. That must've been temporary, since he's now back to his regular rotund form. They must be eating good in Southern Cross.

I'm not sure what kind of content he'll be producing, but it would be cool to see him play the latest FotNS game, which he was sadly absent from. Watch his introductory video below and give him a follow on Twitter here.
