Interspecies Reviewers has been on everyone’s mind with all the controversy and talks going on about it. Being taken off of Funimation might have been the best thing to happen to this show. I believe that the whole stunt is the only reason so many people in the west are talking about it. There's even Japanese broadcasting stations who couldn’t handle the heat that Interspecies Reviewers was showing. But most people are writing this show off as being just hentai, which is false. This is just hardcore ecchi. Real hentai would show everything. But that's something to think about. What if Interspecies Reviewers was a hentai. Would it be better?

Everytime I watch Interspecies Reviewers, I get horny as hell. I want to see these monster girls get fully penetrated and spitroasted. But instead we get a lot of teasing shots of what could have been. I enjoy the show a hell of a lot for its comedy and ecchi scenes, but some time I’m left begging for more. But the thing is, even though I feel that way, I wouldn’t want it to be a hentai. I feel like not being a hentai is what gives it, it’s charm. It going so far from ecchi without being a complete hentai, is what gives it, it’s own unique identity. But I wouldn’t mind a hentai spin off though.

The funny thing is, if it was a hentai, it wouldn’t be as popular as it is now. If it was a hentai, it would have never even been considered by Funimation, or other broadcasting channels. It would have just been a simple 3 episode hentai OVA that would have been swept under everyone's radar. So it not being a hentai actually did wonders for the show. It’s crazy how controversy can make something so popular. Thank you controversy!
