SEE UPDATE BELOW THE TRAILER!

In an unprecedented move for Sony, XSEED was forced to remove a major feature in their upcoming game Senran Kagura Burst RE:Newal, forcing a delay in its release. Eurogamer is applauding this move, just FYI. Censoring game developers, shaming girls for their bodies, shaming romance options in games, I guess is applause-worthy. Sony and Eurogamer have shown some odd colors in this move. XSEED confirmed this failure of a move in a Tweet, seen HERE and right below.

Waaaait a minute. Senran Kagura? Didn't we discuss that before? Right, we DID! So, Nintendo, famous for censoring stuff like Fire Emblem and Xenoblade Chronicles X, didn't censor a damn thing with Reflexions. Sony, a haven for great ecchi titles too many to list, puts a boot to XSEED's collective throat and demands the removal of a big feature. Steam is cool though, you can find ecchi times in the PC release of this game, launching alongside the inferior PS version.

This feature allows players to romance and get hands on and smoochy with any of the sexy kunoichi in the game. Romance dating sim type thing. Harmless stuff, something like Reflexions. Nintendo, again famous for being puritan, was fine with it. Sony of all companies is taking a leaf from their book?

What are your thoughts on this? Will you still be getting this game if you were planning to before? Will you go for the PC or PS version? Take a look at the trailer and sound off in the comments below!

Fans of the Senran Kagura series have made some inquiries on Twitter about the nonsense that is the removal of the Intimacy mode. So, while reading the threads, bear in mind that other PS games have seen and done more than the Intimacy mode in SK. I mean, their E3 showcase had lesbian French kissing! One wonders if it's the interactivity of the mode that had been sliced and diced from the PS version. Though again, PC is unaffected. Take a look below!

And now for the coup de grace of failure. Submitted without further comment, because it needs none.
