Update: Dead or Alive: Xtreme Venus Vacation Hidden on Steam
By Kasaix • 5 years ago

Update at the end of the article

In an odd turn of events, Dead or Alive: Xtreme Venus Vacation appeared on SteamDB, which you can see HERE. Given the state of the industry, where gamers need to be protected from boobs and not blood, it's an odd find. However, it gets weirder. Western fans can see that link, but not go to the Steam page itself to download it.

Clicking the green 'Free' button launched Steam for me, but I still got the 'Oops' page. There's actually an official US page for Dead or Alive: Xtreme Venus Vacation, and it does promise a Steam release. You can see that HERE. The last time the West saw a DOA Xtreme game was back in 2006 with the release of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 for the xBox 360.

Update: Doujins users winstonkutler13 and Enigma42 have said that using a VPN and setting it to Hong Kong allows people to download this game, and reviews are mixed, with players saying that it is pay to play. I have not been able to verify this claim at this time.
