It looks like the Vtuber train isn't prepared to slow down any time soon, with everyone dying to carve out their own niche in the virtual idol scene. Then along comes Project Ugly Bastard, forcefully inserting itself into a fat, sweaty hole in the Vtuber market.

As the name suggests, Project Ugly Bastard is a virtual streamer with a fully rigged 3D model. But the 3D model happens to be a fat, ugly bastard. Why? Because god has left us. Or probably because Vtubers are a ripe source of R34 material these days and he's trying to steal a slice of that pie.

I can't say I'm a fan of the ugly bastard trope but it's cool to see someone trying something new and a bit different in the Vtuber scene I guess. You can find PUB on Twitter, where he's already amassed a small but growing following, and of course you can catch his streams on Twitch.
