You might think that the only place for MAPPA to go nowadays is up and only up. With releasing banger after banger after banger of episodes back to back, you would think MAPPA was at its highest with how much they’re putting into Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. But all those amazing episodes come at a cost, and maybe a few lives or two.
Animators walking into the MAPPA office.
Snooze already talked about it in his article, and it’s just getting worse. Animators are coming out and tweeting about the horrible scheduling and management they have to deal with at MAPPA. I always knew animators had it rough, but seeing them actually talk about it is eye opening.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 still has 6 episodes left before closing out, so now it begs the question, what’s going to happen before those 6 episodes are released? Will it be getting delayed between the making of those 6 episodes? Will the animation quality drastically drop? Will this be the downfall of MAPPA as many have been shouting online? As the week draws closer and closer to the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 finale, we might see the destruction of something else besides Shibuya.
MAPPA studio after Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
Have you been enjoying Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 so far? Do you think Jujutsu Kaisen will go on break? Do you think MAPPA studio will shut down? Tell us in the comments.
however, I don't think the majority of anime fans genuinely care about the mistreatment of animators. im sure they'll keep making products, i just pray they wont abuse workers to do it.
All the more reason why I can't support this industry that allows for crap all around.
