I want to first start this article off by saying that I’ll be spoiling the ending of Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. Now that you’ve been warned, If you’ve finished Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, then you’d know that Suletta and Miorine was a thing. Hell, just watching the show you can feel that they were a thing, an item if you would. And I felt like the ending scene of the show pretty much solidified that.

But, I thought having a ring on their fingers pretty much locked down that the two were married, or atleast together. But nope, according to Bandai, it’s still up to interpretation.

I’m not really sure what reason they would even have for this change. Do they want people to feel comfortable with forcing their own head canon. It’s clear as day what the ending was, so why not just say it and stand by it. If you offend some people, then who cares. It looks worse on Bandai for backing away from it, and making them look like the homophobes.

Since I watch the show and stand by the writer's vision, I will always know and understand that Suletta and Miorine lived happily ever after as a big lesbian couple. But I’m not going to lie, and say I wasn’t a Suletta and Guel shipper, even till the very end. That was the true STRAIGHT pairing.
