It’s funny how many low effect Ren’Py games you can find on the internet. And it’s also funny how a lot of these games seem to be made by Russians. But it makes sense. Russians are drunk and laz- I mean, Ren’Py isn’t that hard of a coding system, so it’s understandable how many games are just being pushed out on the engine, whether bad or good. But I see games like Spider-Man: Behind The Mask and can only say one thing…

Yep, simple and straight to the point. The same way I like my sex scenes. Oh, and don’t think that they even went into the effort of getting their own artwork or anything like that.

When I see games like this, I always wonder what was the goal behind it. Were they hoping to make some quick cash? Was this just practice and them getting use to Ren’Py? Were they just trolling? My mind can never comprehend the thought process that goes behind these low effect games. But hey, I remember when I first started making NSFW games, I only went into it with the thought that “NSFW games is easy money.” and boy how wrong I was. But, I’m happy that I had that mindset since I’m now making NSFW games for the fun of it.
